Bible Study 2008
The Revised Common Lectionary

With the advent of 2008 we begin a new Bible Study. It's actually a study that picks up where our Advent/Christmas study left off. For at least the first quarter of the year we'll be following the Revised Common Lectionary in worship. The Lectionary is a three year cycle of Bible readings that follows the church year. The church year is an ancient way of keeping time that ties the months and seasons of the calendar year to events in the life of Christ.

We will be using the Lectionary texts as the basis for our Bible studies as well along with the 2008 Upper Room Disciplines.

On Mondays …

You Deserve a Bible Lunch

We'll gather once a week over lunch to discuss the readings. The group meets Tuesday at 12 noon in the Kellog Center, 2nd floor, on the campus of Albion College. Our weekly meetings will last just an hour so that you can get on with the rest of your day. Everyone is welcome to gather around the table, hope to see you there!

On Tuesdays …

You Deserve a Bible Breakfast

We'll gather once a week over breakfast to discuss the readings. The group meets Tuesday at 8 am at the Albion Garden Restaurant. Our weekly meetings will last just an hour so that you can get on with the rest of your day. Everyone is welcome to gather around the table, hope to see you there!

On Wednesdays …

We'll meet weekly at the Sheldon Place, 803. S. Superior, at 10:30 am.
