Justice and Faith Study Group
A new Sunday Evening group is meeting now, from 6 to 7 pm, in the Coffeehouse room. The plan is for this to be a lasting group, but where new people are always welcome. We will gather information on the topics, and put that together with insights from the Bible and from the United Methodist Church. Topics in the first month will include:
- Health and Poverty in America
- The Arms Trade
- Equal Marriage and Sexuality
- Palestine and Israel
Please come and join us, especially if you are ready to disagree gracefully! Several working folks have noted that 8 am is too late for most people with jobs, and 10:30 am is simply impossible. You asked for an evening, maybe a Sunday, so here it is! Anyone is welcome, and we will share together in our planning and leadership, bringing in resource people when we need to.
