Holy Week Schedule
March 24 (Palm Sunday)
We will follow our customary Sunday worship schedule of two services at 9 am and 11 am.
Palm Sunday is the celebration of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, riding on a donkey, surrounded by cheering crowds. It’s also the beginning of Holy Week, so it is also called Passion Sunday, meaning Suffering Sunday, because we begin to reflect on Jesus’ suffering.
March 28 (Holy Thursday)
Wesley Chapel, 6 pm
Holy Thursday, also known as Maundy Thursday, which comes from the word "mandate" or command. Jesus gives us the command to love one another, and also the commands to wash one another’s feet and to share in communion. This is a simple service in Wesley Chapel. For the first time in several years, we will be observing Jesus’ command to wash one another’s feet.
March 29 (Good Friday)
