Faith in Action

On Sunday, April 27, a number of people gathered in Wesley Lounge in preparation for another Don't Go to Church, Be the Church Sunday. We had a beautiful day and a lot was accomplished: leaf-raking, mulch spreading, fence staining, and general clean up. In addition to the outside work, several folks crafted cards for the Baby Pantry, shouldered burdens at AIM, and made blankets for Project Linus. One of our photographers said there was so much going on that she had a diffuculty geting to all of the work sites.

At the end of the day many were wondering what we should do next and affirmed that if we set our minds to it we can do anything with God's help. The desire now is to see ways to make Faith in Action not just an occasional program, but a vital and ongoing part of who we are as Christ's Church.
