Personal FRAN Plan, A Ministry

The FRAN Plan is our plan to encourage Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances, and Neighbors to join us for worhsop at the Albion First United Methodist Church.

And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation."
(Mark 16:15)

Each of us must do the following to implement the FRAN plan:

• In response to God's love and grace given for us in Jesus Christ, we are called to share our faith and pray for others that they, too, might have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
• We each have unique gifts that enable us to reach out to others in a variety of ways. We are called to faithfully use our own gifts.
• Each of us can pray for others. It is important that we pray for people by name, as individuals, as well as for the world and creation in general.
• List the names, addresses, and phone numbers of four people who are not actively involved in the life of a local church or who do not know Jesus Christ. Pray for them daily. Pray for your own relationship with them, that it may be one in which God's love is shared.

Then each of us must make the following commitments:

• I shall pray for each of these people daily.
• I shall be attentive and listen carefully to the nudging of the Holy Spirit
  • to develop our relationship further
  • to invite them to worshop or study
  • to invite them to meet the living Christ

Jesus … said, "Go home to your friends, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy he has shown you."
(Mark 5:19)
