About the Kaleidoscope
The Kaleidoscope is not the typical coffeehouse that offers exotic and expensive hot & cold coffee drinks using fancy steamers or noisy blenders. The Kaleidoscope is a not-for-financial-profit community coffeehouse. It will, by design, spawn groups or activities that will profit the community in some way on other nights of the week. That is where the Kaleidoscope concept comes in—the people, needs, resources, strengths, weaknesses, assets, surpluses, etc., of the community come in many shapes and colors. Like a kaleidoscope, these are constantly changing.
It is our hope that the coffeehouse will become a gathering place. On some nights, it may simply be a nice, quiet place to hang out, read, study or use our Wi-Fi access. On other nights it may become the meeting place for an AA or NA group that uses part of the facilities, for example, or a book discussion group, etc.
