Youth Groupin' at FUMC

Youth Group Sunday Meetings

For youth in middle school and high school, Sunday afternoons from 3 to 5 pm. Normally we meet in the youth room, but sometimes elsewhere, if we're doing something offsite. If you want to be included in mailings for youth group, please contact Pastor Jeremy.

Youth Mission Trip

Every summer we take a mission trip for about a week. This summer we're probably going to a location in Michigan, where we'll be working to be helpful to someone. If you want to be part of that trip, you'll need to take part in our fundraisers. We have done a couple already. Contact Pastor Jeremy for more details.

Camp

The United Methodist Church runs some great camps, that are fun, life-changing, friend-making, safe places to be. There are camps for elementary, middle school, high school, young adult, and people with special needs.

Why go to camp? Because it can be the best week of your life. Why bring your friends? Because camp can be the best week of their life as well!

To learn more about these camps, to see the schedule, and to sign up for Wesley Woods, Crystal Springs, Lake Michigan, Albright, and Lakeview camps, visit the West Michigan Conference website and click on Camping. You may also wish to consider the Lake Louise Christian Community Camp. Pastor Jeremy will be leading a high school camp there July 18-24. If you recruit your friends to come to camp with you, you get $50 off your fee for each first-time camper you bring with you. Recruit enough, and you could go to camp for free! If you need help paying for camp, the church will help with that.

Contact Pastor Jeremy if you have any questions. The conference has some money for scholarships as well, including some money especially for ethnic minority campers.
